This universal battery charger can charge most types of rechargeable batteries among them are AAA and AA batteries (NiMH/NiCd) as well as most Li-Ion and Li-Po battery packs for DSLRs, digital cameras, video cameras and mobile phones.

The charger has a clamping fixture and spring mechanism so that batteries of any size can be inserted. You can charge two round cells or one battery pack at a time. The contacts are movable so that they can be adapted to the contacts of the batteries.

LEDs show the charging status. A special micro controller monitors all charging.

Li-Ion charge function:

• absolutely short-circuit proof due to automatic polarity and voltage detection
• smart Vmax pulse charge with faulty battery pack detection
• top-up charging phase with over charge protection and 11h safety time
• battery activator function for deep discharge li-ion batteries
• charging time minimum of one hour depending on battery charge status and capacity
• li-ion / li-po charge output rating: 4.2-8.4 VDC ~ 500 mA

NiMH-/NiCd charge function:

• smart deltaV cold-charge method and trickle charge
• charging time from 2-10h depending on battery charge status and capacity
• NiMH / NiCd charge output rating: 2x 1.4 VDC ~ 500mA
