Description:
This vertical battery holder provides you with a comfortable way of holding the camera when shooting in portrait format or when using heavy lenses. The grip is equipped with two shutter buttons that are easier to reach than the buttons of the camera when holding the camera in a vertical position. Additionally the battery grip has controls for the following features: AE-lock, AF-lock and exposure compensation. On the right side are two remote sockets for a 2,5mm jack plug (due to the design of the battery grip the plug needs to be straight).You can use this for connecting a remote-control release, for example.

The set includes the IR remote control Ownuser Mini IR2B that allows you to release the shutter via infrared. The IR release supports focussing, normal and delayed releasing (10s) as well as time exposure.

The battery grip features a compact design. It is smaller and handier than comparable products. Due to the clever room use it provides the same amount of energy as a large battery grip. The battery compartment holds two LP-E5 rechargeable batteries. Equipped with two rechargeable batteries the grip provides more energy for your camera than a single rechargeable battery. This is especially helpful during long photo shootings.

The scope of delivery includes a MEB battery magazine that can hold six mignon cells (AA). The battery magazine has to be connected to the DC power socket of the battery grip via a connecting cable and can be attached to a belt. That way you can use both hands for photographing.
