Sensor brush with LED light - perfect for removing dust particles from the sensor

The Visible Dust Arctic Butterfly 788 is the ultimate tool for a dry sensor cleaning. It has a bright LED that illuminates the sensor while in operation. This illumination easens the locating of dust particles and reduce the danger of fibres being dragged accidentally against the surrounding cavity hence reducing the potential cause of smear usually caused by contaminated fibres.

SCF fibers for a high dust absorption - motorized rotation to enhance static charge

The brush has SCF polymer fibers (Super Charged Fibers) that provide a high absorption of dust particles. The inbuilt motor of Arctic Butterfly 788 Bright generates a centrifugal force that enables speedy dust rejection while increasing the charge enhancement of the fibers. By implementing nano-coating technology for charge enhancements and by using super thin fibres for maximum lift capability along the AB 788's rotary motion for cleaning/charging makes the Arctic Butterfly 788 a superb sensor cleaning tool.

Handling

1. Expose the camera sensor as described in the camera manual
2. Check if there is any smearing dirt such as oil sprinkles on the sensor. The LEDs will help you doing this job.
3. Rotate the brush in order to charge the fibres and to shake off dust particles which my be on the fibres.
4. Shut down the motor.
5. Remove the dust particles from the sensor. Only wipe the brush in one direction.
6. Retrieve the sensor brush out of the camera chamber and rotate it again, in order to shake off the gathered dust particles from the fibres.

Compatibility

The Arctic Butterfly works with all sensor sizes. And because of its safety features it can be safely used on ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) coated sensor and cameras with built in sensor cleaning systems.

Note

Do not rotate the brush while on sensor!
