Description:
This vertical battery holder provides you with a comfortable way of holding the camera when shooting in portrait format or when using heavy lenses. In addition it is equipped with a shutter button that is easier to reach than the camera's shutter button when photographing in a vertical position.
The battery grip can hold several rechargeable batteries and offers the camera a higher energy capacity than a single battery. This is especially helpful during long photo shootings. The battery grip should be equipped with either two LP-E5 rechargeable batteries or six AA batteries. For the latter there is a removable battery magazine.
The battery grip has several control elements. It has a two-stage shutter button, a main dial for adjusting the aperture etc., an Av button, a button for the AE-/FE-lock and a button for the AF-lock.
At the underside is a tripod socket where a tripod or a wrist strap can be attached.
