Description:
A flash extension cord allows you to connect a flash unit to your camera and use it as a off camera flash unit. That works well if you want to use a flash bracket or illuminate a subject from different perspectives.
The cord transmits the firing impulse and makes a E-TTL flash exposure metering possible. The camera measures the light from the flash and determines the appropriated exposure.
The helix cable prevents irritating cable tangle, is space saving, robust and lasts longer than normal cables.
