Description:
A flash extension cord allows you to connect a flash unit to your camera and use it as an off camera flash unit. That works well if you want to use a flash bracket or illuminate a subject from different perspectives.
The cord transmits the firing impulse and makes an E-TTL flash exposure metering possible. The camera measures the light from the flash and determines the appropriated exposure.
The helix cable prevents irritating cable tangle, is space saving, robust and lasts longer than normal cables. There are two attachment features to connect the cord to the flash unit. It can be slid into a hot shoe of a flash bracket or flash stand and can be screwed into a thread (1/4"-20).
The hot shoe of this flash extension cord is equipped with a swivel-joint that allows you to bend the flash unit.
