By the help of the Cokin P-System you can use your equipment like filters, lens hoods or lens caps with every lens by choice. You just need a filter holder and an adapter ring. So you don't have to buy special equipment for any single lens you have. This saves money and space in your photo case.

This lens hood prevents from reflections caused by sidelight and poor contrasts due to stray light. You just have to screw the adapter ring to the filter thread of the lens, mount the filter holder and then attach the lens hood.

You can combine several of these lens hoods. This is recommended if you use a telephoto lens. These lenses have a more tight picture angle, so that a longer lens hood is required.
