This B+W close-up lens shortens the closest focusing distance of the lens so that you can get closer to the subject and smaller objects can be displayed larger. E.g. a 50mm lens in combination with a +4 close-up lens creates a reproduction scale of about 1:3. That way you don't have to buy expensive macro equipment.

High-quality coating & precision-made frame

This close-up lens provides a both-sided coating that makes the glass very scratch-resistant, non-reflective and enhances the transmission of light. The frame is made from brass and has a front thread. It is very sturdy, accurately fitting and can be attached without jolting.

Note:

Several close-up lenses can be combined. But using more than one lens may lead to vignetting or other abbreviations.
