B+W 702 Graduated ND Filter 25% +2 f-stop MRC

Made in Gemany - by Schneider Kreuznach

GND filter for darkening overly-bright parts of the subject

This filter is very useful when shooting subjects with a wide range of brightness: e.g. landscape pictures with a dark ground and a bright sky. For that use the filter has a grey gradient. The grey part can be used to darken bright parts of the image, so that the overall subject can be exposed properly. In this way the bright part does not look washed-out and it's contrast will be enhanced.

High-quality filter glass with Multi-Resistant-Coating (MRC)

The high-quality filter glass is exactly plane-parallel and void of irregularities. MRC multicoating makes the filter glass scratch-resistant and reduces unwanted reflexions to an absolute minimum. Furthermore the coating makes the glass dust- and water-repellant. That makes it much easier to clean the filter.

Precise & sturdy F-Pro frame made from brass

The filter has a precision-made and sturdy CNC cut frame made from brass. The front part is revolvable, so that you can easily align the gradient by the horizon. The filter also provides a front thread, which can be used to attach an additional filter, a screw-type lens hood or a snap-on lens cap.
