This ND Filter reduces the intensity of the light that goes through the lens without affecting the colours or the contrast. That way the filter allows a longer exposure time or a larger aperture.

A neutral density filter provides a great number of applications. E.g. you can use a long exposure time to make the pedestrians in front of a building "vanish".

This B+W filter is made of high-quality Schott glass. The filter glass has a single coating on each side for making it scratch-resistant and non-reflective. Furthermore it is absolutely plane-parallel and free from micro irregularities. The filter has a CNC machined F-Pro frame made of brass. High quality standards ensure that the filter frame is extremely robust and precise.
