Description:
This UV filter from Phottix blocks ultraviolet light and prevents chromatic aberration, blue cast and haziness. The pictures are richer in contrast and better focussed.
The filter glass is colour neutral and has multiple layers of high-quality coating (HMC). It is almost 100% translucent, water-resistant, prevents reflections and is resistant to scratches.
The filter glass is directly bordered into the ring. That makes the filter really robust and durable. The ring is extremely thin therefore the filter can be used on wide angle lenses without causing vignetting.
The UV filter can remain on the lens as it is transparent to visible light. Furthermore it protects your expensive lens from scratches, dirt or moisture. The filter can be screwed on the lens. In addition it has a frontal screw thread where additional filters or lens hoods can be attached.
