This high-quality coated polarizer improves the colours and the contrast of a picture. Vegetation appears fresher and greener. The sky appears richer in contrast. Additonally a polarizing filter reduces reflections from non-metallic surfaces (water, glass etc.). The front of the frame can be rotated to adjust the degree of the suppression of reflections.

The Super DHG (Digital High Grade) reduces reflexions and makes the filter glass neutral to adhesion, so that oily liquids and water simply roll off the glass. Greasy dirt and dust do not adhere to the filter glass, so that they easily could be wiped away without remainders. Furthermore the coating makes the filter glass extremely sturdy, so that even in heavy-duty use it is well-protected from scratches.

The filter has a sturdy, precision-made metal frame. For preventing unwanted reflexions the filter frame has a satin smooth finish and a black ink process on the glass edge to eliminate flare. For attaching further filters or a lens hood the filter has an inner thread. Nonetheless it is very slim, so that it doesn't cause vignetting even on wide angle lens.
