This filter blocks UV light. In this way it prevents blue tint and bewares contrast as well as sharpness. Since the filter is colour-neutral, it can stay permanently on the lens in order to protect it against dirt, moisture or impact.

High-quality optical glass, sturdy frame & multicoating

The filter glass is made from high-quality optical glass and provides a both-sided multicoating for a special scratch-resistance and an optimal transmission of light. The sturdy, precision-made aluminum frame has a front thread, so that you can attach a screw-type lens hood or a lens cap to the filter.
