UV/IR cut filter for a better image quality
This filter blocks UV and IR light. It prevents colour aberrations (blue tint) and blurring. It is perfect for digital cameras with IR sensitive CCD sensors and for photos taken in location with clear air (e.g. in the mountains, the sea etc.) The photos gain in brilliance and focus.

Can be used as a protective filter
The UV filter is colour neutral and therefore can remain permanently on the lens. That way it protects the sensitive lens from aggressive influences like salt water or sand.

High-quality coating - robust frame
The filter glass has a premium coating and causes almost no loss of light. It is precisely manufactured and has a robust metal frame. There is an internal thread for mounting other filters or lens hoods.
