Description:
This high-quality flash unit from Nissin can be used as a normal flash, as a master flash or as a slave flash.

The Nissin Speedlite creates a better illumination than a built-in camera flash unit because of the larger distance between the flash head and the lens. In addition it reduces the red-eye-effect.

The Nissin Di622 uses the newest TTL flash exposure metering system. TTL flash metering means that a sensor measures the light coming through the lens. The automatic flash selects the proper exposure and controls the flash unit accordingly.

The flash unit is equipped with an automatic zoom reflector that adjusts the illumination coverage to the focal length of the camera lens. The zoom reflector is set for focal lengths between 24mm and 105mm. For portrait photography you may want a softer illumination and to reduce shadows. For that case the Nissin Speedlite has a light diffusing panel. Just pull it out and put it over the flash window. To bounce the flash from walls or ceilings you can turn the flash head in 15°-steps upwards or sideways.

The flash unit has an AF assist light emitter with which the camera can focus easily even under low light conditions.
