Description:
By the help of a filter stepping ring you can use filters with an other diameter on your lens. (For example a filter with diameter of 55mm and a lens with a filter thread that has a diameter of 58mm) As well as other items with a standard filter thread. Even in combination with a macro reverse mount you can use the filter stepping ring.
Application:
Filter stepping rings divide into step-downs and step-ups. With a step-down you can use a filter with smaller diameter than you lens has. (e.g. 55mm-filter on 58mm-lens). Step-ups are functioning vice-versa (e.g. 58m-filter on 55m-lens).

If we don't sell filter stepping rings for the ratio you need, you can combine several rings to achieve the desired size.
