Tulip-shaped lens hood against stray light, impact & rain

This sturdy lens hood blocks stray light and in this way it prevents lens flare and faint contrast. It also absorbs light impact and keeps rain drops off the front lens. Due to the bayonet mount the lens hood is easy to attach and the filter thread remains free so that you can still install a filter. The hood can also be mounted backwards, then it works as a transport protection and saves space in the photo bag.

Tulip-shape for less of light

Due to the tulip-shape the lens hood is better adapted to the rectangular image ratio. That is why the lens hood causes less loss of light without affecting the use of a lens hood, especially when shooting in wide angle range
