Quenox Lens Mount Adapter M42 on Nikon – close-up range only

Description:
This adapter ring allows you to mount older M42 lenses on Canon cameras with a F bayonet connection.

The aperture and focus have to be set manually. The adapter pushes the aperture pusher in so that the aperture can be adjusted without an A/M switch. The appropriate shutter speed can be chosen by hand or calculated by the camera via aperture priority.

The adapter is suitable for close-up range and medium distances; depending on the lens up to 15m. Infinity focus is impossible.

Manual M42 lenses are most suitable for modern camera bodies. The aperture and focus can be adjusted manually which doesn’t work with the new automatic lenses. Manual lenses have the advantage of being smaller, more compact and more durable as they don’t have built-in motors.

The adapter features high-quality workmanship, is very robust and can carry heavy lenses. The adapter ring fits tightly into the bayonet connection of the camera.

Application:
Align the red mark on the adapter with red mark on the camera. Now screw the adapter ring into the camera body with the included tool. Then screw the lens on. To remove the adapter ring repeat the steps in the reverse order.

You may have to deactivate the shutter release lock of the camera.
