This adapter ring allows you to attach 58mm gear such as filters or lens hoods to Canon Powershot G1X. Since the adapter is mounted to the very front of the lens, it moves together with the lens as you change the zoom angle. In this way the adapter does never protrude too much and doesn't cause vignetting.

The adapter fully consists of plastics. It is precision-made and very sturdy.
