Description:
This wide angle converter reduces the focal length of your lens by half. That enlarges the picture angle and makes it possible to picture a larger image. The shortened focal length reduces the closest focusing distance. The converter can be used as a macro converter in close range.

The teleconverter is equipped with a lens made of anti-reflective coated optical glass. The high-quality coating has a thickness of approximately a quarter of the wavelength, so that the loss of light is reduced to a minimum. That makes a precise focussing possible as well as an enhanced contrast and prevents halos. The body of the converter is made of an aluminium-magnesium alloy and manufactured by the CNC One-Step Shaping method. The surface is anodised. This makes the converter especially hard, durable and corrosion-resistant.

This wide angle converter has been designed for compact and bridge cameras but can be used for SLRs as well. The converter can be screwed into the filter thread of the lens. For cameras without a filter thread an adapter is necessary. The teleconverter has a 67mm filter thread at the front where UV-filter or CPL filter can be screwed in.
