Description:
With this remote release you can release your camera via infrared or cable depending on the camera model.

The range of the infrared is up to 100m. The remote control also works with a camera with a built-in IR receiver, but the range is reduced to 50m. The release cable is one meter long and connects the remote control and receiver or the remote control and the camera.

The remote control has a two-step release button. Press the button half way down to focus and if necessary the camera will perform a TTL metering. Press the button all the way down to release. When releasing via infrared these two steps happen at the same time. The release supports standard and delayed release as well as time exposure. The appropriate mode may have to be set on the camera.

The receiver mounts on the remote control release connection of the camera. The head of the receiver is equipped with sensors on two sides and is turnable, that way the camera can be released from all directions. Two clearly visible red control LEDs indicate if the camera is focussing or releasing.
