The RF-603 is a transceiver system, which means that both devices are transmitter and receiver, the function is detected in application. Both transceivers provide the function to trigger lightning unleashed. They can also be used for cable release or wireless remote release of a camera. With these capabilities, the RF-603 offers huge features at a low price.

Flash triggering

Off-camera flash units or studio flashes can be triggered with the RF-603. Both transceivers come with hot shoe and hot shoe mount. The flash is mounted to one transceiver, the other transceiver is mountet on the camera. You can mount a second flash on the transceiver placed on the camera. (Studio) flash units with 6.3mm or 3.5mm jack can be triggerd with an optional trigger cable.

Camera triggering

With the RF-603 Wireless Remote and the included release cable, a camera can be triggered from a large distance. Under optimal conditions the range of the trigger is up to 100m. The release button of the sender focuses the camera when you press the button halfway down and triggers the camera when it's pushed all the way down. Time exposure and continuous shooting is possible if the camera modes are set accordingly. You can also use a single transceiver as a cable release.

On cameras where the video function is starded by the photo-shutter button, the video recordings can also start and stop with this trigger.

Triggering camera and flash

If you set up the transceivers for camera triggering, mount the receiving transceiver on the cameras hot shoe and ad a flash on its top, you will be able to shot and flash remote.

With an optional additional transceiver camera and of-camera flashes could be triggered remote.
