The foldable reflector has a silver and a white side. The white side creates a more consistent illumination which is great for portrait photography. The silver side offers hard light for contrasty pictures. In the case of sidelight the reflector provides a bilateral illumination. This eliminates shadows.

What makes this reflector unique is its handle. Unlike other reflectors the Matin foldable reflector can be held up with one hand. The other hand is free to hold the camera. That way you don't have to pay anybody to hold it for you.
