Novoflex tripod base for QuadroPod four-leg tripod system

This tripod base Basic is part of the innovative Novoflex QuadroPod four-leg tripod system and allows the connection of 4 tripod legs with 1/4" thread and any tripod head with 1/4" or 3/8" connector. The tripod base is made of aluminum and has a built-in level.

Maximum stability and functionality

The high quality tripod base ensures maximum stability and durability. For mounting of any tripod heads a double sided screw comes with a 1/4" or 3/8" thread. The integrated bubble level allows perfect alignment of the tripod and an embedded rubber ring prevents twisting of a mounted tripod head. A locking mechanism with robust sliding switches allows the tripod legs to be fixed in 3 stages. Also any intermediate position can be adjusted and can be fixed permanently with the supplied allen wrench.

Mounting of accessories directly to the tripod base

The tripod base has three additional 1/4" threads for attaching any accessories (gooseneck, flash, reflector, monitor, etc.).

Possible combinations

The tripod base Basic can be used in conjunction with the long QuadroLeg tripod legs, in order to realize an extremely resilient tripod (40 kg). When used with the Novoflex QuadroLeg mini tripod legs you get a variety of different tripods. When used exclusively with the Novoflex QuadroLeg mini tripod legs it gives you a highly flexible, ground-level tripod with extreme carrying capacity (80 kg).

The advantage of a four-leg tripod against a standard tripod with three legs is an enormous increase in stability and resilience. The increased contact area with a leg angle of 90 degrees leads to a steadiness and a carrying capacity that is just not possible with three legs. Novoflex offers a variety of QuadroPod system parts and accessories, so that an adjustment of the tripod is possible to almost any situation.
