Xhia Red Elephant tripod base with panoramic turntable

The Red Elephant tripod base is developed especially for panoramic, nature and sports photography. The ten connections for screwing on single tripod legs offer the flexibility, to use the Red Elephant as the basis of a two-, three- or four-legged tripod. For optimal stability, the camera can be swung under the tripod base.

360° vertical swivel ball head with panoramic turntable

The ball head is pivotable between the connection elements by 360°, this allows to position the camera between the tripod legs for a lower center of gravity and thereby more stability. The Red Elephant is also equipped with a 360° rotatable panoramic plate with degree scale. After the vertical alignment is in position, you can use it for wonderful motion-shots or in combination with the xhia Owl panoramic head panoramas can be created.

Tripod base with 10 connections for tripod legs of the Novoflex QuadroPod Series

Ten connecting thread for the tripod legs of the Novoflex QuadroPod series are arranged in different angles. This and the additional option to turn these connections even over the tripod head in various combinations, offers a stable footing on different floors.

Can be used as two-, three- and four-legged tripod

The ability to attach and detatch the legs, offers the flexibility to use the Red Elephant as a two-, three- or four-legged tripod. As a bipod it can be used with camera tilted down in the sports photography. As a three- or four-leg, it shows its strengths in the natural sciences, as well as in panoramic photography.

Quick-release lever and fixing screw

The quick-release lever releases and locks ball and leg with a single handle. If the position of the legs is found, they can be fixed with a screw against undesired rotation. Meanwhile, the ball head when dissolved quick release lever further is pivoted freely.

3/8" screw and 3/8" thread

The panorama turntable of the Red Elephant provides a 3/8" screw. On the opposite side of the ball hesd is a 3/8" thread, for example, to mount a counter-weight or a second camera.
