These focus levers for DSLR and EVIL cameras facilitate the handling of the lens' focus ring when it comes to precise manual focusing or a smooth focus tracking of moving subjects. Using the flexible mounting ring you can easily connect the levers to the lens. Due to the gearing on the mounting ring you can adjust it within the above mentioned range. Furthermore the gearing allows you to fix the ring so tight that it can't shift.
