Sturdy lens hood for the protection against stray light
This sturdy lens hood blocks stray light and in this way it prevents lens flare and faint contrast. It also absorbs light impact and keeps rain drops off the front lens. Due to the bayonet mount the lens hood is easy to apply and the filter thread remains free so that you can still install a filter. The hood can also be mounted backwards, then it works as a transport protection and saves space in the photo bag.
