Reverse Ring for macro photography

Description:
With the aid of this reverse ring you can attach any lens to your camera inversed. This way you can use it like a macro lens. You can take fantastic close-up pictures without spending a lot of money for expensive macro lenses.

In the retro position the lens provides a larger reproduction scale than in the normal position. In this way you can photograph your photo motive enlarged. With wide angle or zoom lenses you can achieve the best results.

The aperture and focus have to be set manually. The appropriate shutter speed can be chosen by hand or calculated by the camera via aperture priority. Wide angle lenses and normal lenses are particularly suitable. Manual lenses are best suited as you can adjust the aperture manually.

This reverse ring is manufactured very well. It is thin but stable.

The diameter of the filter is indicated in the head of this article. To mount a lens with a different filter diameter you have to use a filter adapter.

Some cameras you have to switch to "Shooting without lens". E.g. on Panasonic Lumix GF1 please choose [ON] in [Custom Menu/Shoot w/o Lens].
