A good lens hood is a must-have for every ambitious photographer. This useful utensil obstructs sidelight and stray light. This way the lens hood improves the quality of your pictures and prevents flaws like reflections or lens flare. Furthermore it boosts the contrast and the colour strength.

The lens hood is made of rigid plastic, is black and has a matted inside area to avoid reflections. The edge of the hood is very narrow therefore it can be used with lenses that have a large angle of view without vignetting.

The lens hood is suitable for digital and analogue photo cameras, cine cameras, video cameras and camcorders. It is easily attachable with the clamp screw.

Application:
For attaching the lens hood to the lens a filter is needed (for example: a UV-filter). You have to slide the lens hood on the filter and fix it with the clamp screw. The bearing surface of the lens hood is rubberized. That allows for a secure hold and prevents scratches.
